Learning How To Understand Tarot Cards
Each one of these links will take you to the specific Tarot Card Meanings and give you some more insight into how you can interpret these cards during and after a reading. The pictures used in this deck are from the classic Rider-Waite Tarot Deck that was first published in 1910. While different decks have different illustrations for their respective names, the same meanings for these cards apply and 95% of the time will be the standard 78 card deck.
While the images are simple, their backgrounds and details hold a wealth of symbolism. Some of the imagery remains close to those found in earlier decks, but overall the Waite-Smith card designs represent a substantial departure from their predecessors.
